Description

Description

Biodegradable dry cleaning and laundry bags designed to protect garments and bulky items during storage, transport, and handling, offering a more sustainable alternative to conventional plastic packaging.

Available in a range of sizes, these bags are suitable for everything from small garments through to large items such as duvets and blankets across commercial laundry, dry-cleaning, and hospitality environments.

Use Case

These dry cleaning and laundry bags are suitable for commercial laundries, dry-cleaning operations, hospitality linen handling, and garment storage where protection, presentation, and efficient handling are required.

End-of-Life & Environmental Profile

Biowrap products are engineered to biodegrade in modern bioactive landfill environments through microbial processes under anaerobic (low-oxygen) conditions commonly found in active landfill systems.

The material is designed to remain stable during normal storage and use, only beginning the biodegradation process once exposed to landfill conditions where microbial activity is present.

Biowrap materials are evaluated using recognised international testing methods, including ASTM D5511 and Biochemical Methane Potential (BMP) testing. These methods assess anaerobic biodegradation behaviour and biogas generation under controlled laboratory conditions. Results may vary depending on landfill environments.

Recycling

Where facilities exist, these bags may be recyclable through soft plastic recycling streams. Availability varies by region, so please check locally.
